Hmm...

You get fined even if you´re on a no-limit zone it seems.

Okay, fine :F

This is my thoughts.

This could well be a bug of some sort.

If you drive in the other side, the speedtrap dont catch you, but in the one that i were drvinging (and shoted) u will be fined..

I think they should make that no speed limit zone have a speed limit.

RE: Speedtraps range - Borja - 2015-06-13 14:08

This is not what im meaning. But its a good idea too. What im trying to say is that i get fined and the cop/"suspect" were in diferent streets

I notice that you lose money for "overspeeding" in a non-limited zone

RE: Speedtraps range - Bez - 2015-06-15 10:21

Paddock isn't an unlimited zone. I think its 60mph like the rest. It just doesn't register on the insim or on the round red speed sign thing.

It looks rather a bit strange. Getting a fine by a speedtrap with 2 guardrails in between. Shouldn't be possible.

I think the insim for the radars works like a circle range , and this circle was a bit big and get fined where i were

Why introduce a rule in the range of the speedtrap so that it only lasers and fines people on the same road as the COP? Kind of like the new COP chase system where you only stay in contact with the suspect when you are on the same road as them. Or decrease the radius but that isn't as practical in my opinion.

However, again, this is one of those problems with Westhill that would only be in effect with Westhill and would again cause problems and arguments on the smaller tracks.

Afaik Bez is correct. Just because you don't see a limit, does not mean there isn't one.

Also speedtraps are not road specific they work within a certain radius to the police car. If two roads are fairly close to each other then it is possible that you are within that radius and can be fined.

And have to works like this or need a little fix?

Makes sense that it works like that... IRL I could ping you with a radar gun from that position.
