Haven't watched the Simpsons in ages. The recent episodes are sort of lacking in quality. Probably started going downhill around 2005.

As the text in the spoiler says, Bart wouldn't be dead forever anyway. Tongue Probably about time ol' Bob actually succeeded though.

The simpsons changed when goverment went crazy about CARTOONS offending people. So they made them less funny. Family guy is the new simpsons for me.

I used to watch Simpsons too, now I might watch only if I am bored and it comes live on TV.

After watching Family Guy for a while coming back to Simpsons, I really don't find The Simpsons the slightest of entertaining anymore - it's so predictable.

If Bart gets killed in an Halloween episode then it doesnt count.

As for the predictability of the show, VirtualTourist pretty much said it. Every "adult" animated comedy is pretty much the same and that's why its so entertaining to watch.
