I don't really know anyone who doesn't use Facebook.
Like a lot of things, using FB is a good thing as long as it's in moderation.
If you spend your hours playing Farmville instead of getting stuff done, then FB is a bad habit. If you use it regularly to keep in contact with friends or family for free then it's a powerful tool which the vast majority of people with internet access use.

I did in active mine, got some threats at me i dident know about, some sister have caused and people think i am involved but i am not so no more facebook for me, sorry i am tired today.

yep true, but people i used to know never writing to me anymore or else just ignornig so that is a reason to deleted it.

Its the main way of communicating with my family nowadays. As most of us live far from each other (Around 3hrs of driving) Facebook is the best way of keeping in touch.
As BP said, if you take the time to actually secure your Facebook and digging into the privacy settings it's pretty tough to receive anything you don't want. If you had filtering and other stuff you will end up with a newsfeed filled with stuff you actually want to see.

Facebook has kind of died in my town, people tend to use twitter and Instagram much more. I hate Facebook, I stopped using it in 2012

I use it mainly top see how uneducated people are about cars.
I do sometimes use it to have a chat and find out what's going on.

In all seriousness, I hardly post anything at all, at the moment Facebook is just a way for me and my friends to communicate rather than texting or calling.

Though I can't view Facebook on my stationary computer, my browser just freezes up and my entire computer freezes up as well. That's why I use my phone for Facebook because it has better specifications than my computer.

I've got all FB related domains on a static URL filter. Speeds up internet by the factor of 10 since all websites that try to load things from the fb domain just ignore it.
