How to make your computer boots faster / Improve its speed - Adorable - 2016-01-31 22:47

Hello,

Sharing a great way to make your computer boots into windows faster.

You will not have to edit any system files, All you're going to do is allowing windows to use all the power out of your computer (CPU + RAM)

1) Press shift + r which will get you here:
2) type msconfig and press enter
3) go to the 'Boot tab'
4) Select the line and click on advanced options
5) Check number of processor and set it to the max, in my case 8. (some are 4,8,16 etc...)
6) Check maximum memory and set it to the max (in my case 8gb, so 8192)

That's all for this part!

If you have a desktop computer (not a laptop)

Then you also may want to unpark your CPU.

By default on windows, the system will disable CPU Cores to save power, so what you may want to do to keep them all enabled.

Visit that page as It'll explain in detail how to do that Wink

Hope that helped
