You have to google 2 words, and get as low a number of results as possible.
e.g. searching for
'assonant octosyllable'
produces 9,310 results (9,311 now this post has been made)
If you get just 1 result, you have googlewhacked.
Since Google changed the way their engine searches and returns results since this was popular, chances are now that it'll just drop one word and search for the other, eliminating the need to have both words in a search result, meaning that it's almost impossible to googlewhack now.
