Wait, what? - Ras - 2016-03-30 21:49

Jack is looking at Anne, but Anne is looking at George. Jack is married, but George is not. Is a married person looking at an unmarried person?

I wonder who gets it right Wink Choose your first guess in the poll.

Reminds me of the surgeon and son riddle:

Easy blade Tongue

it's often used in german as an example to how we always think of a male, before we think of a female, especially in highly qualified jobs. Since the english "the doctor" doesn't say anything about the gender, but in german we'd say "der Arzt"(m) or "die Ärztin"(f)

How is that even a riddle. I guess it makes a big mental difference that my native language doesn't differentiate he/she and Finland in general is a pretty gender neutral place (compared to many others.)

I am positive! I even made a drawing to complete my scientific examination on this subject Tongue

That's exactly when that riddle came up lol. In my German I class. She used it on one of the first days in class to explain how German words can be either male/female/neutral. It's not a hard riddle at all but it's amazing how you assume things.

Should have done that. Drew it and bam got the answer lol. My first assumption was wrong. Fattehs explanation is spot on.

Someone post another one that was a good use of downtime at work lol
