Personally, if I got nobody to cruise/mess with, I end up being bored and going to ETS2.

If there's "nobody" online I usually cruise for 20-30 minutes before getting bored. After that, I usually drive real fast until I end up on my roof. Then, i'll close the game and head out to Factorio.

Good music or cruising with others or TS and cruising with others. There is no other way in my opinion.

Same for me, I cruise with music, I eat something while playing, and I do this until I'm bored. Usually I do 100kms a day, but in XFG Restriction

I also listen to music while playing and aim to do 50km, have a break then go again for another 50. It's also more fun doing this with others as opposed to driving on your own.

"Good Music" is not a "way" imho, its the base. Additionally you can just set yourself goals. Whatever they might be. 50km without crashing, 30 minutes (one hour) without crashing, try to maximise income(5k in the first hour). Make sreenshots (every 10km). Try No-Map-Cruising [NMC] or cockpitview if u dont already use it.

I had a 2 ye window where I didn't game. I'm from the US so the time differentials suck. When alone I just drive. I really try and push my car and setup. No risk to others. Also I'm working on getting my goals for FZ5. It's fun. It's just as if you had an open highway all to yourself in real life. Just punch it.

Put a 3 hour podcast or even a video like a Twitch stream, a Youtube let's play, a documentary or some show from wherever (on a second screen) playing and then just keep driving along to it. I find having a plot or a conversation to follow alongside the driving is more engrossing than just having background music. Unless it's really good background music

Before I became a leader, I was no-lifeing properly by simply driving all the spare time I had. I tend to change game files from time to time to get me back in the mood. I also change the game sounds to make things somewhat different.
Music and being on phone with somebody is also a good idea.

I usually tend to put some music in the background, maybe even skype people on the phone, talk to people in discord at the time, record with OBS if something suddenly happens (if i join to a cruise). Change skins sometimes, take a nice 30min break after every 250km (ofc doing small breaks in that given time.)
