You may already be pissed of by now, but could you show some good close-up shots of the contacts?

If you know a bit about electronics, you could also unplug the pedal set and try to narrow down the problem with a simple multi-meter.

You don't need to disassemble them or so. Just try how good you can see them.

Its me am back. Today, my brake pedal decided to fail on me as well - https://youtu.be/OnH_pwYrToo Is always on and flickering. I hate you Logitech, time to return it and get a voucher, which I'll use to buy another g29 Smile Thats 2 that have come broken now, and thanks for your time Chuck, not sure if I can be bothered to unscrew like 18 screws. Thanks

I suspected the wiring to be messed up, not surprising.
