- Report - Rifo (Archived by Elmo) - ZsoLT - 2012-03-17 18:05 - Your LFS Username: Zsolt6 - Their LFS Username(s): rifo_1987 - Their LFS Nickname(s): [TC]›Rifo‹ - Replay / Screenshot Link: HERE - Replay Timestamps: 1:14 - Crash | 1:17:50 - Talking - Reason for report: Rifo was crashed me when I was speedtraping at the cop park on HW 2. He wasn't apologise... I don't think it was an accident, looks like an aimed ram. After a long time he said "sry mate" but I still don't think it was an accident. Maybe he had reason, cause before he was complain on my speedtraping. Btw. while we was talking he made a crazy overtake (and crash) on Vee who was in chase. But thats not my business, just sayin'. The reason I made this report, is he know the rules, so he shouldn't be doing that. RE: Report - Rifo - Ash - 2012-03-17 18:54 As this is a report against a Team Member, i will notify a Team Leader to investigate. Internal reviews will take place, so please allow time for these to happen before expecting a reply. Thanks for your post! Ash RE: Report - Rifo - Elmo - 2012-03-25 16:14 Firstly, apologies for taking so long to respond, fewer members contributed than I'd hoped. Rifo has told us that the main cause of the crash was due to him lifting his mouse to move it to the centre of the mouse pad. The mouse then took a second or so to become normal again. I have to say that this is a likely reason, as the controller inputs in the replay support it. He didn't initially apologise, because he didn't realise that he'd caused your car to move. There's no way he could have seen your car move at the time, because: a) you can only see your car move on the replay by studying the mirror very closely, and b) he was too busy being in the middle of a crash to stare at his mirror. Also, since the barrier fix, it's very unlikely to actually go through a barrier when you hit it with a glancing blow. As such, if it was a deliberate attempt to move your car, there's such a slim chance of it actually working I don't see why anyone would bother trying. I believe the only reason it happened in this case was that there was some lag between you and Rifo - Rifo's car seems quite jerky on your replay. I'll also add that there are much more subtle and reliable ways of removing a roadblock than smashing into a barrier and hoping to pop out the other side I am also told from those on TS at the time that, from Rifo's reaction, it sounded unintentional. Finally, I must question why you made the report in the first place. You checked the replay, confronted Rifo about it, he said didn't know what had happened, so you told him. He apologised, you accepted the apology. Why then go behind his back and report anyway? That's just rude. For all the reasons above, no action will be taken as a result of this incident, as it appears to be entirely accidental and also because you accepted his apology at the time. The incident involving Vee will be considered internally, separate from this report. No action has been taken for reasons described. Thank you for your report. It has now been moved to the archives. |
