RE: Report - Howlin - 2017-02-11 02:56

This is certainly an example of something that doesn't need to be reported, it's a waste of my time and it's a waste of your time.

The user was wrong siding around a corner that is commonly taken on the wrong side, most likely forgot to check the map and hit your small cruise, then apologised in chat for the mistake as you began threatening reports. It's very possible that it was lag like he said or that he just didn't notice the tiny MRT coming around the corner, which if you're not paying full attention for a second is easy to miss. People make mistakes and cause incidents sometimes, making reports about every tiny little incident doesn't solve anything.

I do think the "stfu" comment was a bit rude but honestly, you were threatening him with unnecessary reports despite his apologies and so I think the comments pretty much rule each other out in this case. Save yourself the time, talk it out and if worst comes to worst and they don't apologise then you can start considering reports.

After a second inspection of the replay I noticed that after you'd had your short argument in chat you decided to put a cop tag on, begin chasing 'Time' without a valid reason and then as soon as you lost the chase, went through with your threats of reporting. This only proves to me more that this report was made out of frustration and leads me to believe you're not fit to have cop rights on the servers since you blatantly abused them here. Usually i'd give a warning before revoking a users rights but based on the fact that this is blatant abuse of the COP tag, which should be more than obvious to anybody who's a regular player here that it isn't allowed, i'm going to revoke them now.

In the future you really shouldn't allow your frustration to get the better of you, this was a simple mistake by somebody which lead to you making a pointless report and getting your own rights revoked. If you're to have COP rights then they are to be used properly and within the rules, do not abuse them again in the future.

You will be able to re-take your cop test in 30 days.

The user 'cookiemaster2500' will also receive a 3 day ban for ramming the suspect in question during the chase, clearly an attempt to hinder him also out of frustration most likely. He's had a warning for similar in the past.
