- Got Banned Today (Unban Request Denied by Blacktop) - CX883 - 2017-03-14 20:50 I was playing on CityDrivingOne Weston's server today. One particular player started chirping me (I've had conflicts with this particular player in the past, we never really liked each other), so I said something in return to fight back. After I said what I said, one of the mods banned me right away. While I admit that I swore, I still feel that a 28-day ban is a bit harsh for a simple argument. I am still relatively new to TC's servers, so I'm not familiar with all the rules as of yet, nor am I aware that each ban lasts for at least 28 days. I certainly would have acted differently today if I did. I will contain my language from now on and I hope to have another chance. Please honor my unban request. Status: Pending Investigation. Please be patient whilst this request is reviewed. RE: Got Banned Today - Blacktop - 2017-03-14 22:14 Hi, I banned you due to the extremely vulgar profanity that you exuded. Calling someone a "worthless, friendless, faggot lipped piece of shit" is most definitely not a "simple argument", as you put it. Even if you aren't familiar with all the rules yet, I hope that you'd remember that the first rule on the rules list is 1.1. Respect other players. Do not harass or abuse other players. I believe 28 days to be an appropriate length, taking your history into account. Your ban will expire on April 11th. In the meantime, I hope you reflect on how you conduct yourself when interacting with others online, and also take the time to familiarise yourself with our server rules which can be found here. |
