G-Sync 144hz-180hz is worth it? - GT4tube - 2017-03-26 15:16 What you think Monitor with G-Sync 120hz-180hz? is great? Who have? I want buy that: (max budget: 500€) https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-SWIFT-PG248Q/ Should buy it or stupid with G-sync? so expensive? Know G-Sync and 120hz-180hz so great ultra smooth like realistic for Racing games.. Can't find cheap price with G-Sync and 120hz. RE: G-Sync 144hz-180hz is worth it? - Luke - 2017-03-26 15:42 If your computer can run above 180fps consistently and at a steady rate with minimal frame drops, it's worth it by a mile. I don't know too much about G-Sync but it sounds good and running at 144hz in racing games and fps is just a whole new experience. Definitely worth it. The ROG series is a great series, I use a BenQ Zowie XL2720 and for the price that is a fantastic monitor, the colours a very vibrant (too vibrant in some cases imo, but I'm used to gaming on a TV ). Best thing I ever did was get an affordable 144hz monitor. 180hz will only be even better! RE: G-Sync 144hz-180hz is worth it? - Adorable - 2017-03-26 15:43 Go for it if you have the money. GSync is a nice upgrade and the extra frame rate makes for a nice fluidity in fast movement scenes. RE: G-Sync 144hz-180hz is worth it? - GT4tube - 2017-03-26 15:56 @Luke Ok i only play LFS got 200-350fps and CS:GO 160-300fps with i5 6500 and GTX 1050ti. and GTA V or other games for 60-100fps enough with G-sync cool smooth enough for me. @Ad Okay xD Thanks for info. RE: G-Sync 144hz-180hz is worth it? - Sam - 2017-03-26 18:16 No idea about G-Sync but I have a 144hz monitor and I could never go back. RE: G-Sync 144hz-180hz is worth it? - Stephen - 2017-03-26 19:40 Gsync works above 30fps, its best to have at least 60 so it looks smooth enough. I have an Asus PG278Q and it is impressive in gsync mode (when you can get the thing to gsync). I think if a monitor has Gsync it can also do ULMB which is handy for higher fps (over 120 I would say). |
