Race 1: Having never done a race start, I wasn't sure what to expect but having two wheels on the grass into a braking zone was not ideal! Held my own until I missed a gear going up the straight and lost two positions because of it. Finished 11th. Not too bad considering it was my first car race.

Race 2: Lined up 11th, decided to shift up to 2nd too early and found myself losing positions before we even reached Turn 1. However, had the most fun I've had in a racing environment and had a great battle for positions. ABS fault during Lap 4 meant having to conserve a little on braking. Ended up gaining a position with having 4 wheels on the gravel. Track limits are over rated anyway... Finished 13th.

Race 3: After only losing positions, it was now time to gain them at the start. A good start and held positions going into McIntyre's and was on a charge. Going round the outside into butchers was definitely a highlight. Was hunting down the pack in front until the safety car came out effectively ending the race. Finished 9th! A top 10 finish! Chuffed with that!

Overall, a fantastic weekend! Learned a lot and can't wait to take it onto the next round!

Can't thank AP Autocentre and Minimax Motorsport enough for the opportunity they have given me and given me a faultless car. Felt like it was on rails! Roll on round 2!
