Yeah, I'm pretty sure this will be the future. There's already contact lenses prototypes with working pixels on them.
Shame Google+ isn't working out though, I think Google will be a big part of the future

Google has come a long way from a small project by a couple of university students.
Though, I can't imagine this being the future - I don't know about you but I wouldn't be willing to flaunt expensive glasses everywhere I go, not only would they be an inconvenience but they would also be a nice theft target.
Think i'll stick to my phone until they do a contact-lens version like Malibu said ..
If they dare to advertise on them or put there logo in the top right of my eye 24/7 I won't have them either
