Teesside British 24hr 2017 - Pete - 2017-08-09 19:50 Hi there, Myself, Mikee, Luke, Special, Street (ex-[TC]) and our friend John will be competing in this year's running of the Teesside British 24hr kart race this weekend (12th-13th August 2017). As some of you may know this won't be our first time doing this race as we took part last year too. Mikee's team from the past 3 years will not be competing and so he agreed to join us! Sam is in America at the moment and is gutted to be missing this year's race. The race starts at midday UTC+1 on Saturday and finishes at the same time on Sunday. A few members of the [TC] team will also be coming along to support us all weekend so you can expect lots of photos and videos. This year's race will be a world record attempt as the organisers are aiming for 100 teams (roughly 40 pro + 60 hires). We're competing in the hire class. Rumour has it that the race will be live streamed this year on the Autosport website so I'll keep you updated on that. Live timing will be provided by Alpha Timing so you can keep up to date with our progress. Our team name this year is UCK Motorsport so keep an eye out for us! We're decorating the front of our kart this year too, our nassau panel will look like this with some added stripes too.
