[RDSR] Banger Racing - Info / Signup - Russ - 2017-12-16 20:08

Following on from our previous Banger Racing event back in December 2015 we've returned with 2 new layouts and we'll also see the return of one of the fan favourites...the figure of 8! [RDSR] Banger Racing is not like usual banger racing where you'd race around an oval layout hitting each other, ours is more nudge and spin and the layouts are not oval, meaning some skill will be needed to navigate the layouts.

[RDSR] Banger Racing will take place on the 23rd December @ 19:30 UTC. Please turn up 15 minutes early to allow everything to run smoothly. We expect the event to last no longer than 1 hour.

The server will be called [RDSR] Banger Racing and will have a password, the password will be sent to all participants an hour before the event starts. Server details will be sent via PM to those who are signed up.

Along with the Insim prizes, we'll also be giving away a £20 Steam voucher to the highest scoring driver of the night, we recommend that you stick around for the whole duration of the event for your chance to win!

There will be 2 heats of 'x' amount of laps for each of the 3 layouts. We will primarily be using the RB4. The top 10 drivers in each heat will receive points based on their finishing position. The higher up you finish in the heats, the better your final position is.

1. Strictly no .VOB mods, cheats, hacks or exploits of any kind are allowed within the server.
1.1 Spammers will be removed, listen and follow the instructions given to make the event drama free.
1.2 If you arrive late during an active race, you may participate in the following race if there is space. If you lose connection during a race, you can reconnect but you cannot rejoin the race and will be marked as DNF.
1.3 If your ping is too high to participate in the event, you will be asked to spectate or leave.
1.4 You're free to use any skin as long as it doesn't contain anything offensive.

2. No wrong way driving other than to return to your route and only when safe to do so (wait if someone is coming past).
2.1 Intentional head-on collisions are NOT permitted. (see rule 2.)
2.2 Do not ram a car that is re-joining the track or recovering from a crash. (see rule 2.)

4. No full speed ramming, pushing and spinning is fine.
4.1 When close behind another car going towards a corner, you may push their back and even keep on the throttle till you both hit the wall.
4.2 NEVER attempt a "lunge" (coming from far away, and ramming the car ahead for what ever reason).
4.3 PIT maneuvers are fully allowed, at any part of the track.
4.4 Do not use fellow racers as an alternative brake. (see 4.2)

5. Leaving track limits means you are disqualified from the race and you will be asked to spectate.
