PC speakers - Tom - 2012-05-05 20:22

upto to £75-£100 limit
best 2 speakers no sub or best 5.1 surround sounds
who would recommend Smile

RE: PC speakers - Viper - 2012-05-05 20:49

I have a small cheap 2.1 system for desktop use and works well with games.
It only cost me £24. When i'm gaming, I use my G35's as they're 7.1.
I don't have the luxury of banging out loud music or games since next door neighbours have a little kid in the room next to this room. Sad
I should probably mention that they're not using onboard sound, but a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium - Fatal1ty Professional Series 7.1.

Logitech X-220

You can also see them here in an old desktop photo I have, just so you can get an idea of size.
To summarize: Decent sound, very cheap.

RE: PC speakers - Zipppy - 2012-05-07 20:16

I got an X-240, but like most PC speakers, it comes with a Subwoofer though.

I've done search of 2.0 speakers on Newegg, I'd say the Creative Gigaworks series will do, or the Logitech Z520.
