What's the longest you've ever walked? - Street - 2012-05-12 22:00 As the title says, just curious what is the longest people have every travelled on foot in one go/one day. I did a 40 mile walk for charity today, and my legs feel like they are on fire (took me 12 hours 33 minutes). Longest I ran was about 7 miles can't remember what time i did it in though lol but i remember being dead after it -.- I walk a lot now I don't have a car on the road, so I walk about 3 miles a day haha RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Malibu - 2012-05-12 22:38 I wouldn't even walk 40 miles if it could save entire Africa.. RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Priit - 2012-05-12 22:53 Around 30 kilometers, was fun RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Audiojack - 2012-05-12 23:01 I'd rather if my only walking was from the house to the car.. The longest I've done could be 10-15 miles, I can't remember distances like that since it's been such a long time since I've actually properly walked more than 3 miles. (The one mile trip to my workplace is enough, thank you) RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Paul - 2012-05-12 23:05 Had a blown tyre on my bycicle, so I had to walk home 20 kms... I've recently been thinking about doing something similar to raise money. What charity were you raising money for? And were you walking with many others? RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Leon - 2012-05-13 02:41 That´d be somewhere around 10km´s. Once walked somewhere around 5km´s completely shitfaced home from a party. RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Cola - 2012-05-13 07:23 We had an annual P.E day at my old school. And in 8th and 9th grade, you could choose whether you'd like to walk or run 16, 21 or 26 kms, I chose to walk the 16 kms, so that's the furthest I've ever walked. RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Street - 2012-05-13 13:01 I can't walk properly RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Tommer - 2012-05-13 15:27 (2012-05-13 13:01)Street Wrote: I can't walk properly Rest your legs a few days. Be glad you weren't doing it in steel toecapped boots, because then it would take a fair bit longer to recover. RE: What's the longest you've ever walked? - Street - 2012-05-13 17:37 Yeah, I was in running shoes and proper socks (http://www.socksock.co.uk/) My toenails are mercifully intact |
