Blender question - Chuck - 2012-06-03 15:48 Does anybody know what's the red-white circle with the crosshair good for that you can place with left mouse button? I haven't found any use for it yet. As seen here: http://cdn.just-download.com/data_images/2011/04/22/1303470762-windows-portable-applications-x-blender-portable1.png RE: Blender question - Nitros - 2012-06-03 16:37 I can't see your image, but yeah. Its the cursor. You can use it as the point to place objects, or rotate the view around. View wise, I usually just use 'numpad .' which will set the view to current object, then obviously you can move it around, or pan/rotate as needed. This explains how to move the cursor a little; http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/3D_View_Windows#Positioning_the_3D_Cursor RE: Blender question - Chuck - 2012-06-03 17:11 AH ye, found at the top of the page: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/3D_View_Windows#A_Virtual_Scavenger_Hunt Number 3. |
