Laptop stuck om boot - Leon - 2012-06-04 22:27 So I've got a Dell Latitude E6400 laptop that I use for the schooling part of my apprenticeship and it has served me well. When I went to use it tonight, it wouldn't pass the boot screen for some reason. I've tried restarting it multiple times, but it always gets stuck at the "Intel® Matrix Storage Manager option ROM v8.0.0.1039... Yadda, yadda, copyright, bla, bla, all rights reserved, bla, more bla" screen. Wut do I do? Forget it. I had a USB pen plugged in, which computers apparantly don't like. Even though the last thing on my boot sequence is USB, it still seems to think it should boot from that over the HDD, when anything USB is plugged in. Stupid technology.
