It's a shame really, nice car, got some value but also a target for thieves.
The chavs in the corsa robbed them in broad daylight, using a crowbar to threaten the owner of the car and hand over his keys. The owner of the house also left his door open so they just walked in.

I seen this last friday when there were like 300 views. A friend of his posted on another forum. Nice to see its got plenty of views. I hope they catch them!

thats why in my garage in the next street i have golf clubs a bat and a brick just incase some little scrotes try to take my bike.

Ditto. News travels fast in owner's clubs. Same as I said when I first saw it, ALWAYS LOCK YOUR DOORS.
Although the chances are that the crooks will have been recce'ing the car for days before hand, so they'd have just gone equipped anyway.

More fool him for leaving his doors unlocked tbh. Still, that'd suck if you got into that situation. They'll be caught given that evidence.

I've always said, if it's unlocked, it's fair game to be played with.
Is why I always lock everything that has a lock on it. Always.
Chavs ain't stupid, they know that the car is hard to steal, but easy to just drive off with the keys.

Well I agree with the others, if its unlocked, shame on you. Though having people charge into their house and threaten you is a whole different story.

They don't steal cars 'for a laugh'.
They simply steal it, take it apart and sell the parts for low price, giving them fast money (or sell full car quickly to someone for good price).

Roba, there are people who steal cars, beat people, shoot people for a laugh. Just because they have nothing better to do. Its not just about money!

Only paranoid people lock their doors in the middle of the day. However, when I move from this country (where these things don't happen) I'll have a loaded shotgun or rifle under my bed and one or two extra locks on my door.

We always keep our doors locked tho, unless we're working outside and need to go back and forth trough the door. It's just because we don't want that some random people are able to come in.

Yeah but better safe than sorry (especially in this case)
That said, in our house the doors are only locked at night, or when my mum is alone and in the house vacuum cleaning (obviously unwanted guests wouldn't be heard over the loud vacuum cleaner)
