Incident Information

Time of Incident: 14:51 Server time

Description of Incident (Include Timestamps):

Towards end of MPR (10:09:00) VM dorifto just rammed me because "I was in the way"
Then instead of saying "sorry" he just types a homophobic slur instead.
I asked why? he said i was in the way. when he made no clear attempt to slow down or avoid. I was merging into AB with a restricted car, i had it to the floor. Least he could have done was move to the passing lane like anyone else would have.

Normally, i would talk this out as suggested by the Administration but yesterday he ruined my chase by WW crashing me, and didn't apologize then. Instead he blamed me for driving into dirt to avoid him who happened to be in the wrong way of the road. I brushed that one off as a "whatever" because the chase was fun and i had to leave for work not long after.

After what happened today, i realize this isn't a person i won't get very far with just by "talking to them" so this is why for the first time since 2017 I'm filing a forum report.

Sorry for this inconvenience.

I must say that is true, and i apologize for that. My internet has been spiking at ridiculous values lately and u did happen to timeout in front of me for a while. I expected you to make way either to one lane or the other but you were in the middle of the road.

Right before the impact i did swerve extra to the right in the hopes i didin't hit you. As for being "homophobic", didin't expect you to take it seriously since we are friends, never thought u would turn on me over something like that.
The day before during the chase, once more, when the internet is spiking every 4 seconds it's hard to predict where u meant to go, i ended up heading to the gravel since there was no grip to go right and dodge you in time. I didin't apologize, neither did you, it was just an inconvenience for both of us.

Nevertheless, i apologize for the last time, and i hope we can shake hands and call it off.
epic gaming.

I wasn't offended by the term gay, i just expected you to use your "soz" bind at least before saying anything else. I wasn't particularly mad about the chase incident, IIRC i joked about it myself. I didn't owe you an apology for that, you were in opposite side of traffic. Technicalities aside, i wasn't upset about that chase. Today on the other hand is a different story, there was no reason for you to do that. I was not in the "middle of the road" as you claim. There are 3 lanes over there, Left being the passing lane, right being the travel/slow lane and the flat lane being the newly created BUS lane. there are lines diving them. All you had to do was move over to the left lane and get around me. and from the MPR's point of view you weren't spiking then, i was in clear sight of your screen. I'll accept your apology for blatantly ramming me at full speed but don't make things up to justify your actions.

see, i proved you wrong. we talked it out opposed to what you said xd
also, the spiking isn't visible on on replay but in my screen players are timing out every 4 seconds, i did happen to do some cmd net refreshing and resetting things that somewhat resolved the frequent spikes, although they are still there.
over that the passing lane from the perspective inside of the car didin't have an obvious gap, and you could have kept a straight line closest to the right the moment u went in, instead you were all over the place, which confused me.

Hi,

Quick note first of all. It's generally a good idea to reconnect every few hours during large sessions. Alternatively, if you've spent a long time AFK, re-connect before resuming your drive. A very long replay (10 hours in this case) is really fiddly to deal with.

Onto the report: mrblazefist claims he is experiencing internet problems. This is however not visible from the replay. As I have only limited knowledge of how certain network/connection issues appear, I will take his word.

With that said, the user's actions were unacceptable regardless of any possible excuse. He caused an accident and failed to acknowledge fault.

Side-note: "gay" is not a homophobic slur. In certain contexts, it may be deemed insulting but this isn't one of them. As you mentioned, the worst part is that this was his first reaction to the crash.

If this incident was because of mrblazefist's connection problems:
It is every user's responsibility to ensure their connection will not impede the gameplay of others. If a user sees cars disappearing intermittently, or has a "LAGGING" notice on their screen, they need to stop driving to avoid problems. In this case, it is especially foolish to take chances based on where you think a user is going to re-appear (as the reported user claimed to do).

If this incident was NOT because of mrblazefist's connection problems:
The crash was clearly as a result of his negligent driving and lack of patience.

As a result of this report, the user has received - and confirmed - a warning.

Thanks
