Isn't this thing ridiculously fast, especially considering its size? If it's what I think it is, I think +2 or 2.5 would be more appropriate

yeah sure.

I think it should financially smarter to buy a car, than to rent it. So the price/income/wear should be better and more economical for a player than if that player were to rent it.

A bit late now that it has been added but yes. It's another mod where the numbers are fabricated out of thin air. Compared to a Chevrolet Suburban or similar platformed SUV from the 00s/10s, the most powerful engine I can find that they had was 345bhp (not 452bhp) and 515Nm (not 881Nm), and they weighed at least 500kg more.

To replicate this, add all the passengers, add 200kg of ballast and set your fuel to 100%. Then add a ~25% intake restriction (maybe more to balance the torque) and go for a spin. That's what you'd expect a vehicle of this size to drive like.
