More variation for Kyoto - Marty_Deslions - 2022-06-30 20:06

I played around with the layout editor again. I created some road work stuff for the TC Kyoto layout.

It would be nice to see stuff like this more often, not only on kyoto.

Note: the traffic lights are green on the pictures, but they need to flash yellow, obviously.

Also, I haven't made the roadworks themselves, but you can use your imagination. Like, bridge maintance or something.

Why? it's bad enough we have a bottle neck at the roundabout where people can't slowdown in time for a chase, you want another bottleneck at the fastest part of the map? seems redundant and dangerous for that specific location IMO.

Can agree and disagree because the only part that is somewhat city like is the round about and everything else is just the track split in two
if this or something in that sort get added rotated it will benefit more to being city like not just a track

If we make changes to the Kyoto layout, I think it would be good to also include additional barriers to oval's pit entry to stop being able to enter the safe zone at full speed.

Roadworks on Kyoto would be good too, but not on a part of the track where most of the players are flat out and are topping 260kph IMO :/

The roadworks are ment as a temporary thing, not as permanent.

So many just for an hour or just for a day or so.

Appreciate your effort. However, I think this will be a potentially catastrophe.

Might be good, but place barriers mounted above themselves, like a real accident happened, also block one of the ramps from the oval itself, meaning a real crash happened aswell.

Edit: Forgot to mention that i loved the work on track while on SC few weeks ago. Made the track alive. Like a city.

Also jardim about that, isnt an Layout issue, looks like drivers are the real issue in this case.

Yes, and maybe they add some diff atmosphere outside of the oval, instead of a simple gas station and barriers mid corner, right at the apex.
