If he is good with mouse, and he gets a decent wheel, he will be faster. Unless he never driven a real car, in which case, he has a learning curve to go through. I am assuming he has driven a car, who hasn't, and that he will be pretty quick right off the bat.

No I haven't driven a car before
Just owned an M3 before and was a racing/drifting instructor for two years xD xD I'm a crappy driver !

Yes but it will take practice.
Stunna was awesome with the mouse, got a wheel, he was .. not so good until a few days/weeks then he was the same if not better than using mouse.

I can remember my switch from a 200 degree wheel (Logitech Formula Feedback something) to 720 (DF-GT).. took me quite a while to get used to it xD.
