Delivery system and Taxi fare - KiiT1337 - 2022-09-09 21:27

Its been a while both were added, and cargo delivery ain't really a profit, neither taxi give a good amount on the fare.

Can't the reward on both jobs be a bit more intresting?

Yes, short topic, but lets discuss about that, because the only way to make money now, as far as i can see is, being cop or gigantic trip to 1000km and reset to zero, nothing after that, just to make you repeat the whole process. (Which is painful)

In my opinion, payments for delivering/taxiing could be better, but I got another idea. What if you could take multiple deliveries? If a cars cargo is 400kg, then lets assume you can take 2x200kg deliveries simultaneously at around 35euros , and deliver them if you've got luck in the same place, or if you're unlucky in different places. But this way we could make the whole system profitable and actually enjoyable, we could get better use of weight to wage distribution and it could be more entertaining, as this system just doesn't cut it, doesn't encourage using it,as it is right now. If you'd rent out a truck for deliveries with 2 ton capacities, it could be fun to take a lot of deliveries and deliver it by stopping at each individual destination that the particular jobs are for, sure it would take a longer time but it could be fun.

This is a very good point, quite often I've been doing courier work in the LCTs (or whatever that massive truck's called) and finding ~200kg jobs (if that)...whilst they do pay, if a system of multi-drops could be done (with the little navigation thing working out which one's closest for an optimal route), then it would make the time (and the cost of the truck) somewhat more worthwhile.
