I worked for a uniform company about 8 years ago and i drove one, with a GVWR of 14,000lbs, around 7,000kg (vehicle and permissible load weight) powered by a GM 6.0L small block "LS" engine rated around 325hp/370ftlbs tq. The fuel costs wouldn't outweigh the maintenance and repair costs of an engine like the Cummins 4BT would create.
