Hi,

The MPR is pretty clear.

You are travelling at 100mph and you are only 22m apart when Smokey point blank turns into your path from the opposite direction.

A roadblock must be set up in advance and cannot move when the suspect is in view. The move that Smokey made basically constitutes a ram. It was not tactical, nor was it well calculated. It also resulted in heavy damage to both cars from the direct contact.


Smokey has little history in regards to breaking COP rules or poor conduct as a COP however due to the amount of carelessness shown in this incident and his experience I will suspend his COP licence for 1 week. Basic training will not be required after this period.
