Interested in joining the [TC] CityDriving Team? - BP - 2023-09-09 18:53

Hello,

As you know, [TC] CityDriving Open Recruitment is currently closed, but usually opens every year for around one week. During this time, users who meet the minimum requirements have the opportunity to apply to become a [TC] CityDriving admin.

However, we understand that circumstances may mean that applying during the opening is not possible.

We are pleased to tell you that you don't necessarily have to wait until it re-opens!

If you are currently interested AND meet the minimum requirements (below), please feel free to send one Forum PM to BP, Dizzle, Ras. There is no need to send the PMs individually: simply add those users to the "Recipients" of the PM.

IMPORTANT: Please keep the PM very brief. Simply write that you are currently interested in joining the CityDriving admin team. No additional information is necessary at this stage. This PM is solely for management to identify interest, with minimal initial input from either party.


Minimum Requirements:
If you do not meet the following minimum requirements, please do not send any PM.

Quote:You must have:
  • A thorough understanding of all aspects of the [TC] CityDriving community, including its InSim functions. Therefore, you must have:
    • First joined the CityDriving servers more than 6 months ago.
    • Played at least 200 hours on the CityDriving servers.
    • Driven at least 10,000 kilometers on the CityDriving servers.
    • A valid cop license and cop rights on the CityDriving servers.
    • The necessary driving ability to drive and cop within the rules.
  • A good recent track record. This means:
    • In the last 6 months, no bans from the CityDriving servers lasting longer than 7 days.
    • In the last 3 months, no bans at all from the CityDriving servers, excluding false-positive account fraud bans.
    • The ability to deal with users in a level-headed and professional manner.


Management will either:
  • Ask you to apply when recruitment opens to the public (if applicable), or;
  • Provide you an opportunity to fill out the application form outside of the recruitment period
The response will be based on whether we think there is a reasonable chance of you submitting a high quality application and passing the recruitment period. Otherwise, we would recommend applying during the open recruitment, at which point we would thoroughly read your application with an open mind (minimum requirements apply).

Every step of the recruitment process remains unchanged. Additionally, the quality we are looking for remains unchanged.
