Layout arrangement in the jamaica. - Ali - 2023-12-23 21:59 Hello, as a cop, I would like to talk about 2 different incidents that I experienced during the chase. Every time I pass through the area in the picture, I feel unsafe and this increases even more during the chase. The imprudence of drivers and the inability of siren warnings to prevent this can cause a serious accident. The speed of the users and their inability to stop causes them to crash into the chase at full speed. In some of the chases I have been on, the same accident has occurred and my vehicle has been damaged, flipped over and disabled. There needs to be a regulation to slow down the speed. Narrowing this road or changing the shape of the speed bumps and overhauling them would be effective. Checking the layout in the area will prevent this. I discussed this with Kumail on !tc. You can consult if you need more information. Thank you in advance for your attention and interest. It's a good suggestion for me overall considering the insane driving by most of the civs and (suspects trying to loose the cop behind). They are crossing this intersection like kamikazes no matter the traffic light. There are added already object with speed bumps that do the job done very well. In one hand, When a serious accident happen there and multiple cars are involved the chance of compensation is close to zero. But as a option we have !report. In other hand, The intersection seems pretty realistic compared with real life. Ive watched a lot of police chases in US videos in youtube. They have very similar cross roads like this just after the highway. Arranged with traffic lights only. In general the layout its good enough. We have danger zones with heavy traffic on all maps similar like this. The cop behavior reaching this zones/crossed roads with no visibility and when there is a traffic should be: lights, fast siren, bull horn, checking the map if you have that time/chance, reducing the speed even if that will cost you loosing the suspect if the chase becomes more dangerous for all. 4.1. Proper behaviour Cops are expected to behave and act like cops. That include the care for others drivers and avoiding incidents as much as possible. Even cops in pursuit should slow down for stops, give way signs and traffic lights when there is a danger for civilians. Chasing the suspect and trying to catch them on all cost can end with reports and revorked license. Thats are just my thoughts. I hope they are helpful. RE: Layout arrangement in the jamaica. - Felipe Jardim - 2023-12-24 13:56 Bridge was nice but some cried about their broken suspensions and the fact that they couldn't go flat out through that intersection because it killed the vibes of the map. I wouldn't mind seeing that LYT again but this isn't terrible |
