a map problem reporting system - MEAOWBOI19 - 2024-05-06 10:31 Yes you heard that right. not reporting people but suggesting fixes to maps, eg: map____... has so and so issue which needs "roadworks" to be fixed. the problems could include having better direction split barriers being lower to allow for better visibility of oncoming traffic, where the TC "roadworks" team could fix it. an idea which the users deem needs fixing and then the "surveying" team could check it out and then call the "roadworks" team to fix it, adding more realistic RP that changes components of the server, instead of some "fake" roadblock to fix some random "broken" tarmac that doesnt do much. RE: a map problem reporting system - Marty_Deslions - 2024-05-06 19:24 Interesting idea. But I think when some layout related parts on a map can be improved, people can make a suggestion here on the forum. I believe the layout thing is mostly done by Chuck, I don't think there is a need for a roadwork team and surveying team. And in terms of RP, yes roadworks can be nice and can spice up the citydriving experience, and some admins have done this in the past, not really because it was needed because of a bad layout issue, but more just for fun. But this is up the admin, if he/she feels like doing some messing with roadworks/HWA stuff. Imo interesting idea, but I'm afraid there is too little demand for it. |
