Incident Information

Date of Incident:07/12/24
Time of Incident:22:45?

Description of Incident (Include Timestamps): After a very long and chaotic day on the server, This one went over the top.
I have joined a already ongoing chase leaded by Yassen , shortly after joining I was greeted by a Intentional ram
  • 1
(5:40:49.63) by which the standard "???" was imitated by my self due to actually not knowing what the hell is going on.
Thought to my self alright maybe he/me lagged and I did not appear on his screen.
  • 2
At 5:41:52.40 The specific individual was trying to avoid ghost on the CORRECT side of the road , decides to go on the opposite side of the road (which I very briefly followed) and caused a HEAD-ON collision with Mr. WOXIE (apologies if assuming any genders)
  • 3
5:42:12.59
How ever we can see a pattern emerging from the specific individual at this point and well , you've guessed it , ANOTHER PIT AVOID AND RAM!!
  • 4
5:42:23.65 again avoids PIT manoeuvre , seriously weakening the structure of the Mighty FZ50Turbo4.
  • 5
5:42:55.62 Same story but different location! Avoids my presence and aims for the back of my semi destroyed FZ50Turbo4 :'(
I will admit , at this point I was really sad and felt a little anger raising
  • 6
At 5:43:55.96 I will admit I was a little on the harsh side due to reasons above , but I have fully gained control of my emotions
a few seconds later you can see that the individual does a high impact on the kerb (which i did not anticipate , genuinely thought it will go over the kerb , so accidently bumped into him , No body is perfect!)
  • 7
5:44:24.26 Individual stops , aims for me and rams me resulting in me being upside down and loosing the chase , no reaction from the individual.

Description of your conversation with this user(s) about their conduct, including their reaction to your messages: Sean: ?????

Do you confirm that your User Report meets all standards outlined in the User Report Information thread? (hopefully yes , its been a while since last time i reported)

RE: Report Byzenci42 - BP - 2024-12-08 06:40

This report may take longer than usual to process.
  • The report contains excessive and unnecessary detail. Please be reminded that an admin must read everything, which (for unknown reasons) has been written in the style of a novel. As a side-note, you may choose to utilise paragraph spacing in order to present information in a more digestible way.
  • As referenced in your report, the replay is of excessive length. Long replays take considerably longer to process given the current inefficient LFS replay review system. In future, please consider reconnecting every few hours, or sourcing a replay from a user who has been online for less time.

As the report is not yet claimed, you may choose to edit your thread with the above points in mind.

Please also note that you are not in a position to advise any user of an imminent ban. Any conversation with a user should be constructive as advised in Reporting Rule-Breakers and getting Help. It is understood that some users may find rule-breakers upsetting, but everyone must attempt to stay composed. This allows the situation to be dealt with more easily.

Your patience will be appreciated.

RE: Report Byzenci42 - SeanProdTV - 2024-12-08 08:35

With great respect, I did not intent to do "admin" like behaviour, I was actually trying to get any type of guilt admision/apology out of him because it was very strange behaviour to witness on TC in today's day and age.

Post edited, hopefully it's more readable now (sorry but I'm not good at creating posts ,hence I usually don't)

With Replay is there anyway to trim the Replay so I could at least half the length?

RE: Report Byzenci42 - BP - 2024-12-08 08:47

Thank you. Your report is a lot more readable now that there is some logical spacing.

I notice that much of the bizarre narrative is still there:
Quote:(if you got this one right you can reward your self with a lollipop)
Quote:but lets be honest which self respecting Policing unit on our beloved TC City driving servers wouldn't!
Quote:infront of WITNESES! Red/Marty could not believe he witnessed cold blooded murder , a few by standers was very quick to jump into actions trying to tell induvial that this is not right!
But the individual was celebrating the victory over the BATTLE!
Here I am trying to win the whole war!

Reports should be objective and fact-oriented. This makes it simpler for everyone involved, especially the admin who must review it.

I acknowledge I have now spent more time explaining this than the admin would have spent actually reading it, but I think it is something worth pointing out for future cases. Smile

It is unfortunately not possible to trim the replay. For the future, reconnect every few hours in case you need to use your replay. Alternatively, source a replay from a user who has been online for less time.

An admin will claim this report when they have enough time to sit down and deal with it. As I said, the replay is long and this will increase the response time.

RE: Report Byzenci42 - Frozen - 2024-12-08 19:43

Hello,

I've looked at the extensively long replay. I would like to begin by stating that in this specific cases, where a replay is so large and time consuming to go through, it's very important that the information you provide is specific and relevant for us to examine. I'll reply to your timestamps below.

Review of timestamps

5:40:49.63 (Click to View)
You're describing something but not what he actually did. He rammed you without any reason here, that's the information you're missing but is actually important for this case.

5:41:52.40 (Click to View)
Correct, he caused a head-on accident and failed to apologize for it.

5:42:12.59 (Click to View)
This kind of moves just happen during chases sometimes. I do not see anything wrong or relevant here.

5:42:23.65 (Click to View)
The reported user did nothing wrong here.

5:42:55.62 (Click to View)
The reported user did nothing wrong here. You're complaining about moves and the force he is using against you, while you're using the same amount of force, and in a similar way, against him. There's nothing wrong here.

5:43:55.96 (Click to View)
It's just an accident and as you said a mistake. Nothing worth mentioning here.

5:44:24.26 (Click to View)
I've reviewed this timestamp three times and, to be honest, it was a unlucky move for you. He technically braked and pushed you away, but he did not use any excessive force or use high speeds to ram you to achieve this result. I understand the outcome of his move was unlucky for you, but you cannot fully blame him for that. If you put yourself, as a COP, in that position then sometimes you are lucky and sometimes you are not.

Response

With the above being said, it seems to me that the report was mainly based on frustration from your side. Whether it was his driving manoeuvres or the fact you got rammed before the chase even started may explain why you felt that way.

However, if you look at my response regarding the timestamps above, you will see that 80% of the reported incidents were either irrelevant, unnecessary or not actually an incident that is worth reporting. A big part of the problem starts with communication, in which you've not admitted yourself you could have done better. If you look at what you described as "Description of your conversation with this user(s) about their conduct" you simply wrote:

Quote:?????
Sean: You will be banned after this chase
Sean: Enjoy ban Smile

I think the quote shown above is far from what I would consider a conversation. If you initiate a conversation with ????? or tell someone that they're going to be banned (while you are not even sure that is the case nor something for you to decide) then you should not expect any proper response from them. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated aswell.

Please ensure that you improve this behaviour from now onwards and that you ensure proper communication takes place before submitting a report. Also, as mentioned in my response above, only include timestamps that are relevant with only specific and relevant details. Feelings, how people who witnessed the incident felt or any other kind of subjective information are not worth going through. Base your report on facts and keep the information short and clear.

To finish the report, Byzenci42 will be given a confirmable warning for ramming other players as seen in timestamp 5:40:49.63.

Thanks,
Frozen
