insim panel for [TOW] - Towcat - 2012-07-23 18:16

i thought about an idea like an insim panel for tows... similar to the one for cops.
like... [name] + [location] + [distance]
and same for the person who called the tow, and maybe a "cancel tow" button next to it.
it happens quite often that i get a call, head there, and none's there.
people got help already, forget to type cancel tow and i don't notice.

a further idea would be a list, if there are 2 calls at the same time... but well that won't happen that often i guess.

ok, just wanted to give an idea... if you like it and it's possible, you can ask me for more details how i imagined it.

Buy a locator.
Costs 10k, but it's basically your idea.

is that locator single use or permanent?

Permanent, for as long as the stats won't be reset.

ok, never heard of it.
i just tried that...
it's almost what i thought of, but automatically for both sides, the TOW and the customer.
so he can see that there is a tow coming to help and doesn't go to pit...

edit: ok i just discovered, that the locator comes automatically when i join a tow call...
but i still think buying this item before is a bit senseless.

and the aspect for both sides would be useful i think

The locator is better for [MED]s since they havent had anything implimented for them.

I always spec the user before responding, so you know exactly how and where they are positioned

If you have a locator (10k) As soon as you accept the tow it locates them for you..

Then all you have to do is type !locate to reset the locator after you have towed the car.

If you are a [MED] You're going to had to type !locate username to find them or just spec them like Adam said. Its up to you Smile

Like an insim within an insim where I am guessing you can check a cars VIN information.
