[Suggestion]: Marketplace - Cola - 2012-09-26 16:49 Hi all. I've been thinking about this idea for a while. My idea is to introduce a marketplace section in the off-topic area. In which members of the community can trade/buy/sell stuff from/to each other. Payment methods should be arranged by users themselves, and it should show a warning, that TC wont be responsible for scamming etc. What do you guys think of the idea? Pros/cons? Maybe somthing the TC's could bring up for discussion? Regards Cola RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - BP - 2012-09-26 16:50 On topic, we had that Classifields thread which had similar stuff, not sure what happened to that. Can't see any harm with implementing what you're suggesting, though. I do like the idea of this, and sorry for my previous misunderstanding. RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Bez - 2012-09-26 16:55 Sounds like a good idea. +1 RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Cola - 2012-09-26 17:00 Just to make something clear; it's a marketplace to be here on the forums, in which members of the community can sell/buy/trade stuff they own IRL to each other (not stuff on the servers like cars, setups etc.) And that's why I made the thread in the General discussions thread. It has nothing to do with server or InSim suggestions to do imo. My bad then, Cola. Misunderstood the suggestion. (Moved back) ~ BP No probs. ![]() ~ Cola RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Sinoco - 2012-09-26 17:58 I would like this... I have a DFGT to sell. XD RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Roba - 2012-09-26 18:07 I do like the idea. RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Tommer - 2012-09-26 20:12 Sounds good to me but [TC] can't be held accountable for any losses I think is the main point to put out there it should be at your own risk. Agreed totally. As also mentioned in OP (2012-09-26 16:49)Cola Wrote: ...and it should show a warning, that TC wont be responsible for scamming etc... This. RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Josh - 2012-09-26 21:34 There is nothing to stop you from doing this already, so a dedicated section sounds like a brilliant idea. As stated, buying and selling will be up to the individuals to decide on and finalise and [TC] will not be held responsible for any selling/buying activity in any way. RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Street - 2012-09-26 22:08 We could possibly make it so that the area is hidden until you have a certain number of posts in order to show others in the community that you are at least established within the community, but I like the idea ![]() RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Adampower - 2012-09-26 22:18 What street said, im on another forum where it works, and it will be well regulated. 100 posts minimum to post... (2012-09-26 22:18)Adam Wrote: 100 posts minimum to post... Even better! ![]() So far this is the 'rules' • TC wont be held responsible for activity regarding buying/selling/trading • A user here should have minimum X amount of posts here to gain access to the area, otherwise the area is hidden. Also; May I suggest a score system? Example: Buyer = B Seller = S S has got an object for sale which B wants. B buys the object, and rates S from a scale of 0-100 of how the trading went. If you dont know what I mean, go to eBay and look up something and find a seller. Often they will have a number in % standing next to their name. This rates how trustworthy they are. RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Dale - 2012-09-27 16:30 i was reading this, and i'm always on TC but i dont use the forums i only have maybe 10posts in the 2-3 years ive been registered to the forums RE: [Suggestion]: Marketplace - Adampower - 2012-09-27 16:51 After discussing with fellow team members, 100 minimum posts its not needed, for the hassle of it, sometimes when the forum updates there is a bug with that feature, and we don't any spam for people to post in there.
