FZ5 Setup - Dan - 2012-10-30 13:21

Hello,

Could somebody please share their FZ5 setup they use to cop? I have a look around the internet but just can't find any optimised for chasing.

You may say "tweak your own", however, I have no idea what i'm actually tweaking.

Thanks in advanced,
Daniel

Every driver has a different driving style and set of preferences to the next, what might work for one driver will not work for the next.

Another thing to factor in is, generally the more fast setups are much less stable and require more finess, attention and pre-calculation from the driver. Generally a good Police setup has to be different from a race setup because you don't get the chance to pre-calculate every turn when your suspect is deciding which way to go at the last second. You can't be paying too much attention to your own car when you've the cars around you to worry about so you do want more stability.

The best thing to do is get familiar with what everything in your setup is doing, the reason being is, you begin to understand why your car is behaving like xyz and how to change how it handles to your benefit.

Every little change you do will likely have big differences in the long run so be careful tweaking your setup and keep backups.

Here's a guide, I recommend reading it because it will help you alot in making decisions on your setup.

Hope this helps.

when i was COP on tc.. "long time ago now" i askd around for tips and trixs on the setup i used. after come across Turkey´s fz5 set i was hook´d to that.

but the nice thing is: its a ky3/ky3r worldrecord set so its both fast and cornering nicely both in highspeed and crusinspeed.

still. a set maby aint working for u but workd for the "owner" and this set i have/had is not smth easy to drive if u cant calculate or be flexibel on the driving style.
