Skype Phone - Ash - 2013-04-15 17:50 Hey guys Looking to get a Skype Phone. Just wondering how these work and can it also be used as a mic in TS? Cheers Ash RE: Skype Phone - Seven - 2013-04-15 19:57 Yeah, if it's Android you can use your phone in Skype Calls (possibly video calls?) and there's a TeamSpeak application either in the Android store or on their website. Though, Ash said he wants Skype Phone, not a smartphone ![]() We used to have Skype Phones, actually, we still do have them, just not in use. You somehow need to link the phones with your skype account, I don't know if you have to pay something to call with them etc though. RE: Skype Phone - Seven - 2013-04-15 20:06 *Derp* Shows how behind I am ![]() Totally forgot those things existed, haven't heard of those in years. RE: Skype Phone - Luke. - 2013-04-16 08:54 It probably charges the standard Skype calling rates. RE: Skype Phone - Leon - 2013-07-07 14:05 We have one of these. It's basically like any cordless phone you use for landline calls, but it's also connected to your router via a base station. You just sign in to Skype with the phone once and it's good to go. When you place a call, you type in the number (Duh) and when you press call, it asks if you want it to be a Skype- or standard call. Ours can't receive or send messages, but it's a fairly old model. Could be the new ones can. |
