Skinning - Luke. - 2013-07-11 08:29 Hey guys, I downloaded a FZ5 bodykit skin base but was just wondering how do I merge the bodykit with the Master Skinnerz pro kits so that I can still use the wireframe and other seperate layers? Got me baffled. Cheers, Luke RE: Skinning - Audiojack - 2013-07-11 11:45 Ever heard of Ctrl+C? No but seriously, here's a simple guide for you. 1. Here's your regular Master Skinnerz pro kit. Select the Wireframe layer as active. 2. Make sure the wireframe layer has these bits in the corners so the layer will align properly later on. If it doesn't you can always just make some with a small brush or whatever. 3. When you're sure that the alignment bits are there in atleast two opposite corners, you can press Ctrl+A (Select All) and Ctrl+C (Copy). Then open the kit which you want to paste the wireframe or whatever you want from it, and Ctrl+V (Paste). This works for anything you might want to copy, just make sure that both of the kits are sized the same. (For example if you want to copy from a 4096x4096 kit to a 2048x2048 kit, you should first make the 4096 kit the same size as the smaller one. (Another common resolutios for skin kits nowadays is 5120x4096, you need to resize accordingly with these too, even if it changes the proportions) RE: Skinning - Luke. - 2013-07-11 11:48 Cheers mate I worked it out a while ago now and I was like duhhh .. Cheers for the pics and stuff though RE: Skinning - Audiojack - 2013-07-11 11:52 Yeah, maybe it will help someone else. |
