tried to connect to server and it gave me a cpw ban and im not sure why can anyone help ?

CPW is a cheat protection. You were banned by the game itself.
You can either try contacting Live for Speed developers (>here<) or wait 12 hours for it to expire.

stumped as to why it happened because it was a fresh install of LFS on a new computer

I just got the same issue. was on last time yesterday august 13th. . i hope it doesnt happend again.
Have send´d a mail to LFS and see what they say what cusing it. hopefully something easy to deal with

TC Team have no control over CPW bans. Follow NB's directions.
