Here's a couple I took I while back.

My current PC Background - Photo taken at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve with my Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 Point and Shoot camera (no edits, other than this re-size while uploading) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada a few years back. F1 Practice and Qualifications too on that day.

Montreal Biosphère - Also in the F1 track, same camera.

Nice pics Ben, specially like the second one.

Could everyone put some basic info of their pics, like exposure time, aperture, focal length and ISO.
It would give good reference to other what kind of settings to use when trying to get same kind of pic.

RE: The big thread of photography... - McGherkin - 2011-12-19 09:31

Save the picture, right click in the folder, click Properties, details tab, and all that info should usually be there.

e.g. for the biosphere pic above:

But if I post pics later on, I'll stick the info in with the post, cause it's a good idea Wink

McG, get a gray filter or CPL to get rid of flares on lights. UV filter block is decent too.

Shame about all the swirl marks in the cars Sad

RE: The big thread of photography... - McGherkin - 2012-04-03 18:43

Was wondering if I could use a polarising filter to get rid of that, don't even know if my camera can fit one.

EDIT: Yeah Ash, I don't think there were any detailers there, but there's plenty in cliosport though. Complete hardcore some of them.

Screw washing bays.
Real car enthusiasts do it by hand.

RE: The big thread of photography... - McGherkin - 2012-04-03 21:19

A lot of them do on CS. I personally can't be arsed because I just go and get it caked again the next day.
