130 vehicles crash on the Sheppey Crossing, UK - Ras - 2013-09-05 11:47 Dozens of people have been injured as more than 130 vehicles were involved in a series of crashes in thick fog on the A249 Sheppey crossing in Kent http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-23970047 Reminds me of the huge crash in Sweden earlier this year. RE: 130 vehicles crash on the Sheppey Crossing, UK - Ash - 2013-09-05 12:08 Why are people doing 70mph without lights on? And 20mph too without lights, just asking for trouble. Terrible though! Hope all are ok RE: 130 vehicles crash on the Sheppey Crossing, UK - Roba - 2013-09-05 13:49 Oh man, sounds pretty bad.. Not to mention here in Finland, it's almost yearly tradition to have ~200 car chain crash on winter when the visibility is ~20 meters and people drive 100kph on the motorway. People doesn't seem to use their brains, if you can't see, slow down. I've driven in fog where you can't see 2 feet in front of you during rush hour and thankfully didn't wreck.
