- Report - MrPatrick (Archived by Snake) - Roba - 2013-11-06 16:10

My Username: -Roba-

Their Username: MrPatrick
Their Nickname: [ES] Patukka

Timestamp;

~ 54:39.XX - Takes a looong time to react to sirens or !move command. As he pulls over right as I'm next to him, what seems like lag or something makes him loose control and hit his friend and me.

Reason for report: Failing to move for sirens at first, and the caused an accident with me. Though it seemed to be lag, the collision ruined my chase and no apologies were given. Not to mention my !report of the same user yesterday for failing to move for siren and causing me crash, loosing my chase.

I want to point out, these [ES] members have caused a lot of troubles, mostly accidents on the servers recently, I wish you guys to keep an eye on them!

First of all how this crash happened.

Crash, view from bottom to top (Click to View)

There was no contact between you and the other car, the other car is fairly to the right. It looks like it was your lag, because you were behind him and he was going straight. You wouldn't get hit if he lagged and his car didn't jump. His mate didn't get any lag as he went sliding into him.

Cockpit view (Click to View)

You had enough room to go straight or even onto the wrong side as you can see on this pic. You steered towards him instead and I can't see any reason to do that. The hit wouldn't have happened if you went more to the left, instead of going close to him because he didn't instantly move.

I don't quite understand your point here, if you would clear this up? There clearly was collision.

Though, I agree pretty much on the rest of this. I should have passed him more safely, and I apologize of that. My point was to follow the suspect and cut the road, but from my point of view, it was pretty much clearly their lag, which caused the collusion (picture above) between me and [ES] Patukka. I would of been okay with it due to the lag part, but he did not react to it all, and no apologies were given even though in the server it seemed clearly his fault.

So to sum it up; I apologize for not passing with enough safety. I see the reason of the collision to be Patukka's lag, which he failed to apologize.

The first "hit" which made him spin towards you (your picture) wasn't a direct hit. There was no physical contact between both cars. I can't see him or anyone else lagging in the replay and he didn't cause a laghit as he went into his mate, so I assume it was your lag, and this laghit caused him to spin into you. This whole situation wouldn't have happened if you wouldn't try to get as close as possible to him. The suspect was in a XRT and you were copping in a FZ5. There was no need to rush through that corner.

The red arrows are the hit you gave him without any physical contact, what made him spin into you.

Alright, well, if you're sure for the lag was my fault, I apologize for that.

I can see what you mean now, and I'll agree that there should be no action taken against him, and I apologize for taking your time, and thank you for clearing this up.
