Splinter Cell Blacklist - Johan. - 2013-12-05 14:57

In my eyes, Ubisoft killed Splinter Cell with Conviction. I had my doubts on the next Splinter Cell title, and never bothered getting it myself. Yet, as it was on my wishlist, Santa came by and dropped it early.

Conclusion: I love that there's 3 different ways to go through the game, sneaking, semi-sneaking and tactical (quiet) killing, and ala Rambo.

The game is MUCH better than Conviction, and it also runs better (seems more optimized). The game is fairly easy though, I'm playing on realism style (wich makes it hard to kill AI's and makes it even harder to hide from them).

Anyhow, to my point, across the storyline and extra missions there's paths and bits that you have to do with a second agent.

Does someone have, or is someone thinking about getting the game? Please do, experiencing CO-OP should be an awesome addition to this game.

I kinda liked Conviction. No idea what it's been compared to earlier titles but I enjoyed it very much. After the story I kept repeating the skirmish levels. Even got me the addon pack. I guess I'm gonna buy the new one at some point, but the current price is just ridiculous.

Compared to the very first titles (Splinter Cell and S-C: Chaos Theory / Pandora Tomorrow), Conviction is SHIT. From what I can remember of Conviction, there was rarely a chance to sneak your way through levels and too much shooting going on. The first Splinter Cell, Chaos Theory and Pandora Tomorrow were all about sneaking through the levels, and quietly killing the people you have to kill, without hurting anyone else or be seen by someone.

Currently I had 4 missions that I had to sneak through without even being spotted, as it would mean a complete wipe of the data I had to fetch. Plus you are rewarded if you keep "innocent" (as in the guards) people unharmed.

Nice! Let me know when you want to co-op, there's quite alot of co-op possibilities, even in the normal storyline.
