Is it any way to turn off the snow? I not like it and on my iPad its just crash the safari & chrome app.

Hmm...doesn't seem to load at all on my iPhone in Safari (iOS 7.0.4), and it doesn't crash. Everything seems to work fine aside from the snow not loading.
Maybe it's your device having issues?
