Upgrading Help? - Jake - 2013-12-13 12:06 I'm planning on upgrading from XP to 7 but don't want to spend the £100+ from PC world etc. So just wondering if a OEM version will be okay?? Link below. Windows 7 Version RE: Upgrading Help? - Jimmy - 2013-12-13 12:22 on my laptop i use cracked version works fine, i use windows 7 64 bit on laptop and my desktop windows 8 RE: Upgrading Help? - Dan - 2013-12-13 12:34 I think the OEM version is more for if you're building the computer yourself, you won't get any help off Windows or warranty or something, I can't remember now. But it should be fine afaik. RE: Upgrading Help? - max913 - 2013-12-13 12:34 A oem version works fine, iv build me a pc recently and got the oem win8.1 RE: Upgrading Help? - Jake - 2013-12-13 12:41 I don't want to crack it due to people i know having it go wrong, id rather be safe then sorry and would i have to delete everything on my HD including my OS to install it? RE: Upgrading Help? - Jimmy - 2013-12-13 12:53 I got new harddrive in my laptop and no cd found to installation for win 7 so i did choose cracked and i have only music and videos on it so its safe. |
