5 Cylinder engine sound??

Hey guys,

I'm hoping someone can help me achieve a car sound I'd really like.

It would seem this guy is on a TC server (although, maybe not because of the car mod), but I reallyyyyy want that engine sound.. Does anyone know how I can get it, or one like it, into TC servers without it being an issue? I'm not looking for the car, just the sound.

I can only assume it's a 'mod' as such, because it seems each car sounds different due to the cylinder layout, just like in real life. This would be a dilemma though because there's no 5 cylinder cars in the game.

If someone could help me out, it'd be much appreciated! Clearly it's possible, but how do you do it?

Nice sound , but if you read comment you will find out he was using Tweak Order .

Qatar has it in one. LFS engine sounds are fully synthesised, so yes, there is a correlation between engine type/cylinder count, and engine sound.

In order to get this sound, you need to use a tweak program, such as NTO used in the video, to give your car 5 cylinders.

The video is from what looks to be single-player, and if I may say, with a very poor quality .vob mod.

tl;dr: Get a tweak program for your LFS version, but don't try to go on [TC] with it.

I've commented and found out he's done it. It's only available on 0.6H.. I imagine that if an update comes out I'd get banned for using it on TC as there's potential to use a thousand horsepower.. No other way to just change the sound like this and still be allowed on TC?? :/
