OK, so I've got my joystick, but I've run out of assignment slots in the LFS options menu (i.e. CTRL +, ALT +) for custom key assignments. So, I'm trying to work out whether I can do it by using scripts.

Code:

/button 36 /say !chase

doesn't work. But you get the idea. You have a running script (initialised through autoexec.lfs) that has button binds. If I could map the joystick in Profiler I'd have just changed all the buttons to script commands but I can't do it.

I don't think doing /button works.

You should map them through the ALT+F/CTRL+F keys

eg.

Code:

/altf 1 !chase
/altf 2 !backup

/ctrlf 1 !stop

etc...

Then assign them through your profiler.

That's the problem. I've run out of ALT+F/CTRL+F keys.
