The junction starts when you pass the red light/the yield line.I wasn't mad at people not reading. I'm mad at people for not reading the post correctly. The current map does not have this issue. Therefore I can't show you an example of a case where this would even apply. And my image shows perfectly where the junction starts and stops. I even showed where a turn on red would not enter the junction. Now for this, that's exactly what I've shown. However, yield lines and stop lines look the exact same on junctions so it's harder to tell. That is one such case where this fine would apply. You contradicted yourself here. Assumptions about something not being allowed, unless otherwise explicitly stated, is a dumb assumption to make. Just because an admin teleports you to spawn and doesn't say anything doesn't mean you can just drive off, does it? This was more of a verification and reinforcement thread than anything. That's why I'm asking for a line to be added to the manual in the "Related obligations which may result in fines" where similar lines of text currently stand. Anyway, the clear verdict here is that it isn't needed. This was supposed to be a discussion thread about a suggestion for a server you all play. That's all it was. |

The point is, your image is imaginary. It simply wouldnt exist. The Trafficlights would have to be on the road, without a yield line for the right turn. Or placed before the actual junction, making it entering the junction and therefor not allowed. You are suggesting a rule for a nonexistant problem. There are no rules for lanesplitting, because we dont have bikes. Unless you show an example of an existing problem, theres no need for any fix. I cant recall any junction like your picture. Proove me wrong, please. But until then, it is just no problem. The only case(, I can think of,) that comes close to your image would be on Jamaica coming from Devils Corner to Highway 2. But there, like i stated before, the lights are actually after the rightturn(onto the Bridge), so you dont pass a redlight/yield line. |

RE: RToR (turn right on red)
The manual already clearly states, red light = stop. There's no exceptions shown, so no turn on red either. You will always be entering a junction regardless of which way you're going. If not, then there won't be traffic lights (on our servers anyway)

Other then that, naaaah.Thats how traffic lights works in EU: Maybe in your country, but definitely not in NL. |

RE: RToR (turn right on red)
Why does no one get this? He didn't say he wanted turning right on red to be legal, he wanted a short line to be put in the rule book so that people from America and some places in Europe don't get confused when the get fined.

Read. People get it. People mentioned that the manual says you are supposed to stop at a red light and that it doesn't mention anything about turning on a red light or other exceptions for that matter. Thus it should already be clear. |

RE: RToR (turn right on red)
ok i think i misinterpreted some of the posts in none of the posts apart from ras' one did i see anything about red light = stop no exceptions clearly
maybe at some lights we could have arrow signs below them so that you can turn right at them also, would be good to see a facepalm smilie |
