Honda Civic Type R vs Audi R8 V10

My brother owns the Civic FN2 Type R which is similar specs,

On a track the R8 will disappear from the Civics view but for more than half the price and on British roads the Civic is not much slower, I prefer the R8 but Civic does sound and look nice for todays hot hatchbacks especially for the price.
I also have keen eyes on the Astra VXR as that's a very nice car but personally I find it a bit too cheap on the interior.

This is why I love FWD, great handling and amazing mechanical grip on that Honda. I'd much prefer to drive that Honda for handling rather than speed.

I actually like the sound of that Civic, better than what we get here.

The FN2 model has a lot of grip itself and its very nippy around corners, being in the passenger seat and having so much fun on quiet roads must mean that the driver is having more fun
Cant beat the sound of the thing either, its easily the nicest sounding hatchback there is.

One in my family owns a Type R FN2 as well. Really quick and awesome race sound at higher RPM. Also nice that at low RPM it's not noisy as you might think, it just sounds like any other normal 4 cylinder so you don't get annoyed with noise when driving it everyday.

Nothing, but even if it sounds nice, some people (i dont know about myself as i havent owned a car) find it annoying if its too noisy/loud when they use it day in day out for work etc.

Tbh a bit of sound isn't that bad. I'd prefer to hear engine sounds over tyre noise actually, as that is all I hear when doing 80kph. My car is pretty quiet in the lower rev-range and loud in the upper range.

Very true, although, the tires aren't particularly quiet The suspension is certainly stiff making you feel everything in the road which isn't too good where i live because we have been told that we have the worst roads in the UK so the engine maybe quiet but the ride certainly isn't nether the less, i wouldn't say no to getting one myself.

I would love a tighter suspension setup lol, even while it doesn't sit low at the moment, it sure feels like its low when you get in. We have some bumpy roads here, but the ones that are fun to drive aren't that bad.

Get like my Golf have 10 cm drop is to stiff and its bounce much after speedbumps i hate now, you will get much better handling on car thougt, i can take hands off steering wheel and still its going straight without doing anything

haha i did it only once and it was non trafic around or behind me, and i did almost drop phone to when i ended a call, lucky it dident happend anything even car did go straight with out losing controll over it and yeah gonna dont do it more and golf have 4 brand tires so much grip + those 10 cm drops do it even more safer on road.
