(Refund Request Denied by Pipa) Refund Request
- Your LFS Username: camerontinkler
- Time & Date of Incident: 14/06/15 00:50ish - Replay / Screenshot Link: http://www.filedropper.com/mrmr - Replay Timestamps: 10:07 - Reasons as to why you think you deserve a refund: I noticed that the cop was behind me so I intentionally straightened my car to avoid doing a drift. My car skid was merely trivial in doing so. Yet I was fined for drifting... Which in my opinion was a weak reason to fine me. |

RE: Refund Request
Please upload the replay to a different host (Like Dropbox, MediaFire or MEGA). Filedropper doesn't work with MPR files very well.
Once done I can sort this out ASAP. |

You were above the speedlimit, entered the corner from the inside, lost the rear, slid into the sand and hit the covered tire wall. I would consider only getting fined 30€ for that quite generous. I would also advice you not to threaten others with reports. RE: Refund Request
So, you're telling me that the skid amounted to a drift? That's all I want to know.
I also never thought that a refund request was considered a report against another user thus the template does not ask for the users name whereas a report does. My messages were simply to inform him of my request so he can respond. Please could you also explain how "above the speedlimit" and "slid into the sand and hit the covered tire wall" is relevant to the fine that was given, thanks. |

However it clearly ticks the boxes for careless driving. Technically he could have also fined you for causing an accident, since you did crash into the tire wall. In refund request we also look at the people that issued those fines, so while it may not say so in the title it can also be considered a report. Furthermore it doesn't really create a pleasant environment when people jump to reports right away instead of talking about it constructively. Merely a short summary of what happened. "Slid into the sand" and "hit the covered tire wall" however are things that contribute to the fine for careless driving. |

RE: Refund Request
Ah, this is making more sense now!
One last thing though, his reason was "drifting" although my actions contribute to careless driving, I've always thought that the reason has to be what the actual fine is for? It's like saying that I could fine someone for hitting a wall under careless driving but then state that the fine is for drifting. Should the cop not have had better reasons in this situation? |

But most people use that word for loosing control or small slides. May not be true to the definition, but we can all understand what it generally means and that we have broken a server law when mentioned. |
