RE: 20/03/2016 Bumper cars [Discussion]
was expecting this and one of the reasons i didnt even attend. alrdy during previous events some ppl refrained from bumping at all and preferred to gain distance, and nothing else.
Could consider rewarding contact and especially highspeed contact. Maybe raising points for survived cars to something like 50, and then 1 point for every contact with a speeddifference over 20(or something) kph. and 5 points for kph-difference over 50. Jst a first thought. this is bumper cars, not hiding cars. €: in b4 teams crash themselves for points and 5 for highspeed actually too much, or 50 per car too low. as said, just a first thought. There are many situations where ppl should just ask themselves: What happens if everyone acts like this? In this case: ok lets all just hide, share the points, and everyone is a winner wohoo! afterwards we can group-hug each other and dance our names. Btw teamwork is also essential when bumping others, towing teammates or protecting them while doing so, not only when hiding. On top you actually dont want headon collisions. You want minimal force, without getting damage yourself, while flipping the opponent, not ramming him to death. so far my understanding of bcars. that worked out quite well in last events. |

I'm not sure if this is local slang or not but I've always known actual "bumpercars" as "dodgems", and the aim is to avoid getting rammed rather than planning on ramming everything in existence. Flying full speed around the map and having head-on collisions isn't fun to me, I'd rather play it strategically and stay alive and win my team points then get rammed into oblivion. |

But in my opinion, it is more fun to at least drive around the track and avoid being hit than being stationary in what was a hard to reach place. |
